Coolest coffee shop in the neighborhood. I’m new to JC and walked into incontro on a rainy Saturday. The team was very kind and the coffee was even better. Don’t forget to get a baked good. I also like this space because it brings local artists and community groups together to have events/pop-ups. I tried their banana foam latte and have been told that it’s “the spot” for WFH folks. Going to have to come back again!

They are literally THE BEST cafe I have ever been too. This is my daily coffee spot. There’s great matcha here too. The banana bread is on top! The owners are the most friendly people ever, they are absolutely awesome. This is a definite spot to go to when in Jersey City!

This coffee shop has quickly made it to the top of my list as one of my favorite spots in Jersey City. The vibe is incredible, great music, beautiful natural light coming through the windows, and a thoughtfully designed space that makes you want to stay awhile. Every detail feels intentional, from the art collaborations on the walls to the community flyers around the shop. The family who owns the café is absolutely lovely. Meeting them for the first time genuinely felt like catching up with old friends, which made the whole experience even better. You can really feel the sense of community they’re building here. We tried the salted brown sugar shaken espresso (as an iced latte) and the Biscoff iced latte, and both had a rich, high-quality espresso flavor that really stood out. We also ordered the almond croissant and the everything buttered biscuit both were delicious and the perfect pairing with the coffee. Between the atmosphere, the quality of the drinks, and the warmth of the family who owns and is running it, this is definitely a place I can see myself walking to regularly.

This coffee shop is a true hidden gem with a wonderful ambience. The host was incredibly polite and welcoming, making the experience even better. You have to try the amazing cappuccino and the rich, thick Italian drinking chocolate. I absolutely recommend stopping by!

NEW no-tipping neighborhood cafe serving strawberry shortcake latte and delicious chocolate chip cookies in Journal Square. I really can’t stand tipping culture. I’d much rather see restaurants pay their workers a fair wage instead of shifting that responsibility onto customers. That’s why it warmed my heart to see Incontro Caffe stated that they pay their staff fairly right on their signage. They even removed the tipping screen from checkout. All menu prices are tax-included, and NO EXTRA CHARGE for alternative milk. More of this, please!! It’s not just a socially responsible community café. The drinks are actually delicious, and the vibes are chill and cozy. Friendly baristas, comfy seating, plenty of space, and a clean, gender-neutral bathroom. So lovely to have them in my neighborhood. *Strawberry Shortcake Latte $7 * I really enjoyed the strawberry shortcake latte, which came with strawberry purée, coffee, and a generous plop of whipped cream topped with dried strawberries. The sweetness level was just right. *Matcha Strawberry Latte $7 The matcha, on the other hand, leaned more bitter even with the strawberry purée, and I personally think it could’ve used a little less m
